Abstract

Background: There is lack of awareness of the efficacy moderate interval intensity training on quality of life in sedentary obese subjects in Egypt. Aim of Study: The present study was conducted to deter-mine the effect of moderate interval intensity training on quality of life in sedentary obese subjects. Material and Methods: Twentyobese male subjects par-ticipated in this study, ranged in age from 35 to 45 years who received moderate interval intensity training (MIIT). The participated subjectsin this study were assessed by Short form 36 quality of life questionnaire (SF-36) and were evaluated before and after the treatment program about three sessions per week for eight weeks. Results: The obtained results revealed statisticalsignificant difference of the measured variables when compared before and after treatment. Conclusion: MIIT can be added to the physical therapy program and had an effecton quality of life in sedentary obese subjects.
