Abstract
Bronchiolar disorders are generally difficult to diagnose because most patients present with nonspecific respiratory symptoms of variable duration and severity.
High-resolution computed tomography plays a key role in the detection and classification of small airways disease and, when combined with relevant clinical and pathologic findings, leads to a more accurate diagnosis.
In this review, we describe the variety of HRCT findings in small airways diseases, dividing them into direct and indirect signs of small airway diseases.
In this study, we evaluate role of MDCT in diagnosis, detection, differentiation and evaluation of small airway diseases.
